This fall, a record number of people have sought emergency shelter at our shelters in Quincy and Brockton. As winter nears, we expect these numbers to continue climbing, exceeding our shelter capacity by as many as 75 people a night. While state funding only covers a portion of costs, we have vowed to shelter everyone this winter. If we don’t, people could die on the streets on the coldest nights.
To ensure that everyone receives shelter, we need to raise $300,000 between now and the end of March. Please give to our Winter Survival Fund. Every little bit helps.
